Who we are
The Kite Factory is an independent media agency that gives brands the best in Heart, Art, and Science to craft creative media ideas that deliver. With a rich heritage in measurement, TKF combines data-driven insights and craft planning to deliver media effectiveness that drives measurable growth for clients like David Lloyd, WaterAid, M&G Wealth, Lovehoney, White Claw, Triodos Bank, and Skin+Me, to name but a few.
We exist because we saw a gap in the market. A gap between ideas and measurement. Anyone can have a good idea, but they don’t necessarily know how to measure it. Conversely, just because you can measure things, it’s no guarantee you can have good ideas. Well, we do both.
We’re a dynamic team of creative visionaries, professional achievers, and data enthusiasts, all driven by a passion for delivering tangible results. Now with over 100 media specialists, The Kite Factory has experienced remarkable growth over the past five years. We've celebrated multiple new business and award-winning campaigns, earning the prestigious title of Campaign’s Independent Agency of the Year in 2023. Our workplace culture shines as we proudly rank among The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work 2025. We are also an IPA Effectiveness Accredited agency, highlighting our commitment to effectiveness and how we embed Ideas That Deliver in our agency culture.
The Strategy Team within The Kite Factory
At TKF, the Strategy team are brought in whenever our skills and thinking are required, most often complementing the work of the Client Services team. We serve the following five functions:
- Client Strategy: Ensuring all our clients have a clear strategy and appropriate support in broader strategic thinking to help drive their business forward. You will have a set patch of clients you are responsible for to ensure consistency of thinking.
- New Business: We shape the strategic thinking in pitches and lead the process in collaboration with the Client Service lead.
- Agency Intelligence: Helping everyone stay smart, staying close to new industry research and disseminating relevant findings to colleagues and clients alike. We help champion our effectiveness culture, as well as implementing our planning process /FlightPath throughout the agency.
- Marketing: Helping publicise the agency, be that contributing to agency PR, writing for white papers, helping create content for our marketing events, plus helping write award papers, showcasing the best of what the agency has to offer.
- Consultancy: A significant area of growth for our agency. We are responsible for delivering strategic consultancy projects to help clients make the most of their marketing, galvanize internal stakeholders, and leverage every available touchpoint for maximum success.
It wouldn’t be 2025 without a reference to A.I.: The key focus for the Strategy Team in this space is to be comfortable with A.I. and using it as part of their day-to-day approach, to help us unlock stronger insights and create better thinking. This means honing our skills in prompt design to get the best iterated outputs from LLMs.
